Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship
The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides students who are entering kindergarten through 12th grade scholarship opportunities based on their household income level.
The EdChoice Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to families through two types of scholarships: Traditional (Location-Based) and Expansion (Income-Based).
25-26 EdChoice Scholarship Information
We are currently waiting for official scholarship amounts for the 2025-2026 school year. While we expect similar eligibility guidelines, the final award amounts have not been released.
Families who plan to apply for EdChoice (Traditional or Expansion) should continue to check for updates and ensure all required paperwork is submitted on time. We will update this page as soon as new information becomes available.

24-25 EdChoice Scholarship
The tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is $6,750 per student, which includes a $450 Student Service Fee. Families are responsible for any remaining balance after the scholarship is applied.

Traditional EdChoice is available to students residing in designated school districts and provides the full $6,166 scholarship.

EdChoice Expansion is income-based and open to all Ohio families, with awards ranging from $616.60 to $6,166, depending on household income.

FACTS Financial Aid Program
24-25 FACTS Financial Aid
If your family needs additional financial assistance beyond the EdChoice Scholarship, you may apply for FACTS Financial Aid, an income-based program that helps cover any remaining tuition balance after other scholarships have been applied. To be considered, families must complete the FACTS application by the March 15, 2024 deadline.
We understand the financial commitment families make to provide a Catholic education at SMM, and we encourage all eligible families to apply, even if unsure. This need-based aid is awarded based on household income, so completing the application ensures you are considered for all available assistance.

Kremer Foundation Grant
The Kremer Foundation Grant provides additional tuition assistance to low-income families. This grant is separate from FACTS and EdChoice, offering further financial relief for qualifying families.

Applications are sent directly to families from the school.
