Pajama Day

In November, SMM held a wonderful Election Day event where all students had the opportunity to learn about elections and the voting process. They submitted their ballots to decide on three school-related issues: the types of recess equipment to purchase, a themed dress-down day, and a special treat/movie day. The Student Council and staff acted as poll workers, assisting with voter registration and guiding students to the voting booths. After casting their votes, students proudly received stickers to celebrate their participation. This event helped to engage students in a meaningful hands-on learning experience about democracy.
